In addition to the default email activation method, we also support registering with: 1. MNTNER as username; 2. IP address as username, so that you may use any fake email address in the case you do not want to share your email or cannot receive it.
When registering, set the username to the name of the maintainer of which you are using to visit this bbs. For example, if I use 172.20.233.129 to access the forum, and the mnt-by: field value of this network segment is NICHOLASCW-MNT, then the registered user name is nicholascw or NICHOLASCW.
Once you have finished registration, navigate to http://bbs.dn42/activate/ to activate your account.
Alternative: use your IP address as your username by replacing all . with _ and remove all : (or copy directly from http://bbs.dn42/activate/.)
